Idris Elba, star of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, envisions a Cyberpunk 2077 live-action film alongside Keanu Reeves. In a ScreenRant interview promoting Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (where he and Reeves co-star), Elba expressed his excitement about the prospect, stating a live-action adaptation would be "Whoa," particularly with himself and Reeves reprising their roles.

Elba's enthusiasm stems from the potential synergy between his character, Solomon Reed, and Reeves' iconic Johnny Silverhand. This isn't merely wishful thinking; Variety reported in October 2023 that CD Projekt Red is collaborating with Anonymous Content on a live-action Cyberpunk 2077 project.
