This secret fighting arena is nestled in Southeastern Yamato at the Ominesanji Temple. To make future visits easier, synchronize at the Ominesanji Overlook viewpoint to the west of the area, creating a fast travel point. This will allow you to return quickly and switch characters if needed.

Upon reaching the Ominesanji Temple, engage with Gyoji again. He will explain that you must participate in four one-on-one duels before facing the ultimate champion. After the cutscene, you can ring the bell to start the first fight.

How to Complete The Tournament in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

The Tournament is a high-stakes gauntlet of one-on-one combat. Fortunately, you can take breaks between fights, giving you time to heal with rations and upgrade or swap your weapons and armor as necessary. To defeat each opponent, we suggest using Yasuke with a long katana, focusing on dodging and parrying to exploit their vulnerabilities. The Long Katana is your weapon of choice for The Tournament. Equip the highest rarity Long Katana available, and upgrade it to the maximum at your hideout’s blacksmith.
