Sony Pictures has thrilling news for anime fans: Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is set to slice its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. The announcement came during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they revealed their acquisition of worldwide theatrical rights, excluding Japan, to bring Tatsuki Fujimoto's gripping story to the big screen this fall. While US audiences can mark their calendars for late October, over 80 other countries will get to experience the film starting September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will handle the release on September 19, 2025.

The Chainsaw Man movie was announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. The story follows Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life after forming a pact with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. This alliance grants him the extraordinary ability to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, transforming him into the formidable Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to Reze, a significant character from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film brings back the entire voice cast from the anime series to reprise their roles, ensuring a seamless continuation of the story.
