BioWare has seemingly abandoned plans for Dragon Age: The Veilguard downloadable content (DLC). However, creative director John Epler hinted at the possibility of a Dragon Age remastered collection.
BioWare Officially Shelves Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC
Dragon Age Remastered Collection Remains a Possibility
According to Rolling Stone, BioWare has confirmed no plans for additional Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC. The game is considered "complete," and BioWare's focus has shifted to the next Mass Effect title.
While details regarding future Veilguard DLC remain scarce, Epler addressed the potential for a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He expressed enthusiasm for the idea but acknowledged significant challenges. The original Dragon Age games utilized EA's proprietary engines, making the remastering process considerably more complex than the Mass Effect remaster. Epler concluded, "It’s not going to be as easy as Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never say never."
