April 2025 PlayStation Plus Games Unveiled

Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of PlayStation Plus Essential titles for April 2025, featuring RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5), The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (PS4, PS5), and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory (PS4). These games were announced in a recent PlayStation.Blog post and will be available to subscribers starting April 1, until the next set of games arrives on May 5.

The April 2025 lineup caters to a variety of gaming tastes. RoboCop: Rogue City, developed by Teyon and Nacon, is a standout title that immerses players in the role of Alex Murphy, the iconic cyborg cop, as he battles to restore order in a crime-ridden Detroit. This first-person shooter received a significant update in January of the previous year, introducing a New Game Plus mode, which adds replay value to its already compelling story. Our review at launch awarded it a 7/10, praising its faithful recreation of the '80s atmosphere.

For those seeking intense multiplayer action, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre by Sumo Digital and Gun Media offers a thrilling asymmetrical experience. Players can either try to survive or take on the role of the notorious Slaughter Family, including the infamous Leatherface. This game, which simulates the terror of being pursued by a chainsaw-wielding maniac, was rated 6/10 in our review, noted for its entertaining yet technically challenging gameplay.

To balance out the high-octane action, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory from Bandai Namco provides a more relaxed experience. This turn-based RPG expands the universe of digital monsters, offering over 320 Digimon to collect and a fresh perspective on the events of the original Cyber Sleuth story.

As these titles become available next week, PlayStation Plus subscribers should not forget to download the March 2025 titles before they expire on March 31.
