Android Invades Castle Doombad

Castle Doombad is back and better than ever! Now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, offers a wickedly fun experience.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a simple remake. However, they cleverly split the project into two: Free To Slay for mobile, and Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version with updated content, launching on Nintendo Switch and Steam later this year. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Evil!

Embrace your villainous side in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay! Construct a fiendish lair and thwart heroic do-gooders using your arsenal of traps and minions.

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) includes the original 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 unlockable and upgradeable traps, and more than 100 collectible items. A customizable cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you adorn your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. Combine these with equippable "Baddie Bonus" perks for a personalized touch.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds replayability with randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares that grant unique powers. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
