Story

Your adventure commences in a forest adjacent to the Riders' village, where you, alongside your friends Lilia and Cheval, discover a radiant egg. In a playful attempt at the Rite of Kinship, you succeed beyond expectation, and the egg hatches into a baby Rathalos, known as "the King of the Skies." Naming him Ratha, you return to the village, only to face a terrifying ordeal days later when a monster infected with the "Black Blight" attacks, leaving the village in ruins and your friends scarred.

A year on, you're officially inducted as a Rider with a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief. As Cheval and Lilia pursue their separate destinies, you, accompanied by the upbeat Navirou, set forth on a new adventure into the vast world of hunters. A tale of friendship and triumph unfolds as you ride into the heart of Monster Hunter Stories!
