Hibou is a safety app designed to maintain social connections while prioritizing your well-being. Leveraging 20 years of experience in lone worker technology and healthcare, Hibou empowers you to live life to the fullest, knowing your family is informed.

Easily check in with loved ones whenever you embark on an activity. Hibou uses GPS technology and customizable timers to provide peace of mind. Whether you're hiking, skiing, or traveling abroad, simply activate the activity timer (up to 24 hours), and Hibou will track your whereabouts. Upon safe return, simply end the timer. Need more time? Easily extend it with a tap.

Should an emergency arise preventing you from seeking help, Hibou's automated system will alert your chosen contacts. If your timer expires without a check-in, your last known location will be sent, ensuring swift assistance.

Hibou also offers daily automated wellness checks. You can report in via the app, website, or phone. Missed check-ins trigger reminders – app notifications, emails, and/or phone calls – followed by a grace period and further reminders. If you remain unresponsive, your contacts will be notified.

A dedicated help button instantly sends a notification and GPS location to your contacts. While 9-1-1 remains crucial in true emergencies, Hibou offers a convenient way to alert your support network when assistance is needed.
